Robert L. Cardoni, Director of Financial & Tax Services
Bob graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College with a degree in accounting, as well as business and finance. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1977. In 1975, he joined the firm of Price Waterhouse and was quickly promoted to a manager position in the tax department. In 1980, Bob accepted a shareholder position with a local firm before starting his own accounting practice in 1985. He is a graduate of the inaugural class Leadership Howard County. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, as well as the Maryland Association of CPAs.
In 1998, Bob earned his financial advisor’s license and is now a Registered Representative with the brokerage firm of Raymond James and Associates, Inc. He is also a registered investment advisor and licensed for life and health insurance with the State of Maryland. Currently, Bob manages over $15,000,000 of Cardoni Waddell clients’ assets.
He is also presently active in a number of community associations, including the Associated Italian American Charities of Maryland, Inc. He is also past president of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants where he assisted with the creation of the Litigation Support Services Committee for the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, as well as past Treasurer of Howard County Economic Development Authority. Edward L. Waddell, Director of Accounting & Managerial Services
After earning his degree in accounting and commercial science from Benjamin Franklin University, Ed became a manager of the tax and special projects departments for a regional Washington firm. As a result of his extensive experience in accounting, tax and consulting services for clients in the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area, Ed started his own firm in 1976. He has been a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland since 1975 and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Maryland Association of CPAs, and the D.C. Institute of CPAs.
Ed has been extensively involved in community and professional organizations during his career, including the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives, the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations and the Estate Tax Planning Committee for the D.C. Institute of CPAs. He is a graduate of the Howard County Leadership Program. In addition, he has previously served on the committees and boards of the Howard County Economic Development Authority and Annapolis Chamber of Commerce and is also past Chairman of both the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and Columbia Rotary Club.
Ed is presently active on the James Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund and Howard County General Hospital Pension Committee. He is also a Trustee and Treasurer of the Howard County Community College Foundation and serves on numerous Howard County government special tasks committees. The Maryland Small Business Administration named him the 1996 Accountant Advocate of the Year in addition to being named as one of the top twenty accountants in the State of Maryland in 1999. Gregory S. Schuessler, Director of Auditing and Special Engagements
Greg received a Bachelor’s of Science from California University of Pennsylvania and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Leadership Howard County and serves on the Board of Directors for Norbel School.
Greg has over 14 years of experience in public accounting working with a diverse clientele. He has experience conducting and supervising accounting, auditing, tax and management advisory engagements. He also assisted in developing the firm’s auditing standards and practice techniques.

Kathy A. Ganley, Director of Tax Services
Kathy has her Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary’s College and her Master of Science in Taxation from Georgetown University. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986 and is a current member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Cardoni Waddell, LLC, she was a tax partner with a national firm and was the partner-in-charge of the local office tax practice. She spent nearly 20 years at her former firm and she specialized in tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses and their owners.
In 2003, Kathy was recognized by The Daily Record as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. She is also a graduate of Leadership Howard County. Kathy has been involved in various community and service organizations during the course of her career. Some of the more recent positions include Co-chair of the Special Events Committee for Leadership Howard County, member of the Leadership Howard County Class Selection Committee, Assistant Treasurer for the Trinity School Home & School Association, Coach of a Trinity School boy’s basketball team, and member of Network 2000.
