Robert L. Cardoni

Managing Director in Charge of Financial and Tax Services

Mr. Cardoni graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College with a degree in accounting as well as business and finance. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1977. In 1975 he joined the firm of Price Waterhouse and was quickly promoted to a manager position in the tax department. In 1980, Mr. Cardoni accepted a shareholder position with a local firm before starting his own accounting practice in 1985.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Cardoni has represented both large public companies and small closely held businesses. His extensive training in the tax area, as well as personal financial planning, lead him to earn his designation of Personal Financial Specialist, sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Cardoni is very active in a number of business and civic associations. Some of his past positions included those with the Howard County Economic Development Authority, Ellicott City Jaycees, United Way, and the Columbia Business Exchange. He was also a past president of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently on the board of Leadership Howard County, The First Tee of Howard County , and the Ellicott City Volunteer Fireman’s Association.
